Data Description

The DB6_DB02_TRLOG event is used in SAP to view the DB2 database transaction log. DB2 uses transaction logs to record all changes to your database so that they can be either reapplied or rolled back in the event of problems.

• Identify the oldest application handle, which is causing the DB2 database transaction log to fill.

Execute the dbacockpit transaction in the SAP system. Open the Backup and Recovery folder, and double-click Logging Parameters. The data displayed on the right side of the screen will match the data that is extracted and sent to Splunk.
