HDB_DBCC_SLFMON

Data Description

The HDB_DBCC_SLFMON event is used in SAP to perform a series of self-monitoring checks. The self-monitoring functions help you to identify and resolve issues related to configuration that may prevent DBA Cockpit from running properly.

  • Identify database connection failures.

  • Validate availability of the statistics server.

  • See if the HANA DB license has expired.

SAP Navigation

Execute the dbacockpit transaction in the system. Open the Diagnostics folder and double-click on “Self-Monitoring”. The data on the right side of the screen will match the data that is extracted and sent to Splunk.
