Description

When performing a test connection to Splunk, system prompts the error below:

Cause

The problem is because the outgoing JAVA connections requires TLS 1.1 or 1.2. These SSL libraries are not available in older JAVA releases. 

Resolution

Check note 2284059 (Update of SSL library within NW Java server). Use SUM or Java Support Tool to patch according to system’s support package level to install these SSL libraries.
