PowerConnect Java 6.7.0 Release Notes

Overview

PowerConnect for Java 6.7.0 release. Install the SCA package using SUM or telnet.

New

  • Send status of monitors (enabled status, interval configured) to Splunk

  • Retry mechanism for Splunk HEC (for timeouts, connection loss etc.)

  • Exclusive database lock monitoring (native sql) (beta)

Improved

  • Split Message Server monitoring into parameters and metrics

  • Added further PowerConnect Java Agent instumentation including Splunk errors, retries, PO message collection errors

  • Better handling of faulty xml configurations for PI, Splunk and JMX

  • Expose HTTP timeout configuration in PowerConnect UI

Bug Fixes

  • Default Trace logs can sometimes contain # characters in their field values which is also the field separator. In this case the field alignment would be incorrect for the particular log event. Updated the default trace log parser to ignore # values where they have been escaped
